Terms and Conditions
Agreement governing the use of the Conma CMP service between Conma Systems and the Client. Applies from the contracting date.
1.Service Description
Conma Systems ("Conma") offers a Consent Management Platform (CMP) as software as a service (SaaS), accessible at https://conma.lat.
The service lets companies and developers implement, manage and audit the consent of their end users in accordance with applicable privacy regulations, including the GDPR, Colombia Law 1581/2012 and Google Consent Mode v2.
By registering for or using the service, the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2.Eligibility and Registration
To use Conma, the Client must:
- Be a legal entity or an individual over 18 with legal capacity to contract
- Provide truthful, complete and up-to-date registration information
- Keep their account credentials confidential
- Notify Conma immediately of any unauthorized use of their account
The Client is responsible for all actions taken under their account and the accounts of their team members (roles: Owner, Admin, Viewer).
3.Plans and Pricing

COP prices apply to Colombia. For other markets, prices may be expressed in USD or other currencies depending on the payment processor and the Client's region.
4.Payments and Billing
4.1 Payment processors
Conma processes payments through:
- PayU Latam: for clients in Colombia and Latin America
- Stripe: for clients in international markets
4.2 Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. The first invoice is generated on the plan activation date.
4.3 Automatic renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billed period, unless the Client cancels before the renewal date. Conma will send a renewal reminder 7 days before each charge.
4.4 Taxes
Prices do not include VAT or other applicable taxes. The Client is responsible for paying all applicable taxes under the laws of their jurisdiction.
5.Cancellation and Plan Changes
5.1 Cancellation by the Client
The Client may cancel their subscription at any time from the portal at Settings > Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial periods, except for errors attributable to Conma.
5.2 Plan downgrade
When downgrading to a lower plan, the Client must select the domains they will keep in accordance with the new plan's limits. Domains not selected will be suspended at the time of the downgrade.
5.3 Cancellation by Conma
Conma may suspend or cancel access with 30 days' notice in the event of a material breach of these Terms, non-payment or abusive use. In cases of a serious security violation or illegal use, suspension may be immediate.

Scheduled downtime notified 48 hours in advance does not count toward the SLA calculation. Service credits for non-compliance are applied as a discount on the next invoice, upon request within 15 days of the incident.
7.Acceptable Use
The Client agrees not to use Conma to:
- Carry out illegal activities or violate third-party rights
- Collect consent from minors without the required safeguards
- Implement the banner in a deceptive or non-GDPR-compliant way (dark patterns)
- Reverse engineer, decompile or modify Conma's software
- Resell, sublicense or transfer access without Conma's express authorization
- Generate artificial loads on the infrastructure (DoS/DDoS)
- Store or transmit malicious code through the platform
8.Intellectual Property
8.1 Conma's property
All software, documentation, trademarks, logos, designs and content of the Conma platform are the exclusive property of Conma Systems. These Terms do not grant the Client any ownership rights over those assets.
8.2 License to the Client
Conma grants the Client a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the service in accordance with these Terms for the duration of the subscription.
8.3 Client data
The Client retains all rights over the data they upload or generate through the platform. Conma acquires no ownership rights over that data.
9.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Conma's total liability is limited to the amount paid by the Client in the previous 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
- Conma will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages.
- The Client is responsible for verifying regulatory compliance in their jurisdiction.
10.Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential the non-public information exchanged within the commercial relationship. This obligation remains in force for 3 years after termination of the contract.
11.Changes to the Service and the Terms
Conma may modify the service, the features or the prices at any time. Material changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance by email.
If the Client does not accept the changes, they may cancel their subscription before the effective date and will receive a refund proportional to the unused period.
12.Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute will be resolved through the following process:
- Direct negotiation (30 days in good faith)
- Mediation before the Conciliation and Arbitration Center of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce
- Institutional arbitration under the Rules of the Arbitration Center of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce
For clients in the European Union, the mandatory rights established by the consumer protection regulations of their Member State will be respected.
13.General Provisions
